On the occasion of the 60-Year anniversary since the launch of Zygos magazine in 1955,
which was to be followed by Galerie Zygos a year later,
The Benaki Museum hosted an evening, on Wednesday, November 25th, 2015,
at the central museum building, at 1, Koumbari Street, Kolonaki.
Speakers included:
the long-time director of the Benaki Museum, the late Angelos Delivorrias,
Mme Marina Lambraki-Plaka, Director of the National Gallery of Greece,
the late Panayotis Tetsis, master-painter and member of the Academy of Athens,
Mr. Dimitris Pavlopoulos, Professor of History of Art, University of Athens,
and Mme Catherine Frantzeskakis, widow of the founder Frantzis C. Frantzeskakis
and co-publisher of Zygos and co-director of Galerie Zygos.
