Apostolos Kyritsis

Born in Cairo, Egypt in 1924, of Greek parents, Apostolos Kyritsis served in the Greek Air Force during WWII. He begun participating in group exhibitions in the early '50s in Alexandria. His first solo show was in Lehman Gallery of Alexandria, in 1959. From 1970 to 1988 Kyritsis worked as an artist at EOMMEX (National Organization of Greek Handicrafts and Small to Medium Size Industries).
