Ever since his first exhibition at Galerie Zygos in 1982, Kostas Karnavas was a friend of mine. I always appreciated his kindness, his sense of humor, his original talent and prolific creativity, his tintilating imagination, the dignity with which he always handled himself, his everlasting quest for truth in life and in art.
Kostas is no longer among us. On February 8th 2014, a fast form of cancer took him away from his family and friends, and abruptly stopped his creative path. But, his work will always remind us of who he was and of what more he could have added to his artistic legacy...
