From 1963 to 1965, and under the direction of Catherine Frantzeskakis, Zygos operated to Roloi, the first center of applied arts in Greece, introducing over 400 innovative and creative applications by emerging but also by established artists.
Located at 10, Herefondos Street, at the St. Catherine's Square in Plaka, in the heart of the historic downtown district, to roloi included creations by what would now be considered the cream of the crop of contemporary Greek artists.
