A multi-faceted artist, Haris Tsekoura splits her time between the city of Nauplion, the Peloponnese, and Athens. A member of the Chamber of Fine Arts, she studied architectural drawing, works as an exhibiting visual artist, has done sketches for Sunday newspaper "Kathimerini", collaborates with musician Mariza Koch in stage design and costumes, illustrates books for children, but also for Ioniko Theatro, has been commissioned to design several posters, writes books of her own, and sings. She was awarded the Prize for Culture by the District of Argolis. Her exhibition "Portraits of Taste" took place October 20 through November 7, 2005 at Galerie Zygos at Ellinikos Kosmos in Athens, under the sponsorship of Heineken beer. The preface for the exhibition catalog was written by renowned Greek singer Maria Farantouri, with text by Vicky Flessa and Andreas Tarnanas.
