Born in Alexandria, Egypt, in 1937, Bedros Aslanian begun his studies at the age of 16 under Sylvio Biki. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Alexandria in 1961. He participated in the Alexandria Biennale of 1958 and 1960, getting the First Prize in both. In 1964 he had his first solo show in Athens, at Galerie Zygos. Since 1965 he splits his time between Greece and Canada. He has had numerous solo shows and participated in many group exhibitions all over the world.
